Brothers and Sisters,
It is a new year. Last year was full of employment, many jobs including the Third Track expansion, the new Islander Stadium in Belmont and many more. A year of prosperity for our Local Union, our families and ourselves. We have also had some members retire and some members pass away. They will be missed. Each year brings new opportunities. If you like the way things are going, come down and get involved in our Local Committees. If you do not like the way things are going, come down and get involved in our Local Committees.
Unions as a whole did well this year. We have some of the highest approval ratings nationally in terms of
people wanting to join a union, especially in amongst with all of the millennials. The infrastructure bill was passed, and this will bring jobs to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure and rebuild America. This will take time and have to be watched over the for years to come. Different administrations are watching over the funds and seeing how they are going to be distributed.
